AMANDA’S STORY

Skin Treatment Therapist

Graduate of Level 2 Facial Massage & Skin and Level 3 Facial Electro Therapy

Having worked as a backstage international makeup artist doing skincare prep for models at fashion shows, Amanda found that her clients had confidence issues with their skin. So, she decided that she wanted to help people feel confident by offering skin treatments.

Amanda said “After suffering with problematic skin myself, I wanted to explore different treatments to help people feel more confident in their skin. I realised the importance of good makeup is flawless skin, so skincare preparation is very important.

“After researching many schools, I chose to study at LSBM because they offer real life practical experience in the salon and I wanted to feel comfortable working in a salon right from the moment I finished my course. The help and support provided by LSBM is amazing and I really enjoyed working on real clients, it was very stimulating to see the happiness on their faces after their treatment.”

Amanda successfully graduated in Level 2 Facial Massage & Skin and Level 3 Facial Electro Therapy and is now a Skin Treatment Therapist. Her mission is to continue to provide skin treatments to people who aren’t happy with their skin.

“I always listen to what my clients skin concerns are… understanding what they want to achieve in a treatment is extremely important. This leads to client satisfaction and will build their trust in you.

“If you’re planning to get in to the beauty industry, I’d say always believe in yourself and listen to others who have experience. Confidence goes a long way, work hard and always stay positive.”

Having Juanita as my teacher was so inspiring, she’s the one who gave me the idea to go on the cruise ships, and I would have never done this without her!

It was a really hard and scary decision to quit my full-time job and go back to studying full time, but looking back it was the best decision I’ve ever made.
