What courses do you teach here at LSBM?

I teach the CIBTAC, CIDESCO, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Post Graduate Spa Therapy courses. I'm also the lead CIBTAC & CIDESCO lecturer and oversee those courses here at the school.

What is your area of Expertise?

Holistic Therapies, Advanced and Sport Massage, Anatomy and Physiology, Lymphatic Drainage and Chinese Cupping.

What did you study and where did you gain your qualifications?

I studied my CIBTAC and CIDESCO qualifications at the Potchefstroom Academy in South Africa. Reflexology at the International Academy of Reflexology and Meridian Therapy, and I studied my Teacher Training, PTTLS, and Post Graduate Certificate in Education at BCUC - Buckinghamshire New University and Aylesbury College.

What have been your Career Highlights?

I have had many career highlights, some of them have been while working on cruise ships, walking on white sandy beaches on my days off. Also becoming a CIDESCO Examiner and being able to see the excellent standard of CIDESCO Schools in many different countries across the globe.


What made you decide to go into education and work at LSBM?

I was involved in education from early on in my career, becoming a lecturer at LSBM 10 years now, was a dream come true working at a private CIDESCO School with excellent standards.


What is your Beauty Motto?

My beauty motto is: "There's always a way", Each student has the potential to be excellent, it's my professional goal to guide students to reach their potential and become their best.


What do you like to do in your spare time?

Apart from spending time with my family, there is noting I like more than riding around in the countryside on my 821 Ducati Monster, every single cell is clapping hands of joy when I am on my bike.


What is your favourite treatment to have and why?

My favourite treatment to have is Reflexology, it's the only treatment I feel relaxed almost instantly, I love it.


What do you enjoy most about the beauty industry?

The beauty industry is constantly evolving, I love the fact that there is literary so many different diverse opportunities for therapists and still the market has many opportunities for therapists world wide.


What do you think is the most innovative beauty treatment/product to launch recently?

I think advance aesthetics and the Spa industry has really developed in the last few years, and result driven technology in Aesthetics is also very exciting. Clients are now, more than ever, quite well educated in treatments, they know what results they want to have, and see.
