Having my own successful beauty business in Bloomsbury, London in 2008, becoming a beauty lecturer and recently teaching a mobile treatment service website business.

What is your beauty motto?
Always wear SPF, lots of beauty sleep, water and always remember beauty isn't about having a pretty face, it's about a beautiful soul.
What made you decide to go into education and teach at LSBM?

Having been in the beauty industry for 17 years and gaining immense experience working as a therapist, salon manager and then business owner; I realised the importance and demand for a high standard of client care and professional excellence in a beauty therapist role. I wanted to pass on my knowledge, skills and experience. I have always wanted to teach and LSBM has an amazing reputation in the industry and worldwide with their high standard of teaching and the variety of qualifications on offer.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I love spending time and creating memories with my husband and two young daughters. I also enjoy researching and gaining knowledge about all the new beauty treatments and products in the beauty industry.

What is your favourite treatment to have and why?

I love facials and a full body massage to relax, switch off and rejuvenate for an hour, it is heaven!

What do you enjoy the most about the beauty industry?

I enjoy how there are so many different career options a beauty therapist can have and there is always so many new products and treatments to learn about in this massive amazing industry I am so passionate about. I also love the fact that you can work anywhere in the world as a beauty therapist, from home or in a salon.

What do you think is the most innovative beauty treatment/product to launch in recent years?

The beauty industry evolves at great speed with an increase of new treatments and products launching every year. There is now a growing interest in natural organic beauty, and my favourite product to launch this year is - Triogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil Light Blend. This oil is certified organic and the blend is designed specifically for oily combination skin. It helps to regulate the skins oil production, improve skin tone, wrinkles and protect against the environment.
