Congratulations to our CIBTAC students who took their practical and theoretical exams last week!
The exams are held over two days; one day practical and one day theoretical. These two days are held in-house and are authenticated by an external CIBTAC examiner. The practical day is split into two halves, the first half being Aesthetics where students have to demonstrate a facial; eyebrow/eyelash tint; brow shape; manicure or pedicure; demonstrate a wax using both strip and hot wax, and apply a full face of make-up. The second half of the day focuses on the body, which includes a full body analysis of the client where cellulite, fat and weight are measured, the student will also demonstrate how to use 4 body machines effectively and safely. Day two the students sit two practical exams; a body exam (1 1/2 hours) and an aesthetic exam (1 1/2 hours).
We will find out their results in 4-6 weeks time, however our students are not finished yet! They now move on to their CIDESCO Beauty Therapy and Spa Diploma course which is the most prestigious and internationally recognised beauty qualification in the world. We are also the only school in the UK to offer the CIDESCO Spa Therapy Diploma.
