Meet Krisztina – Level 2 & 3 Facials and Skincare Tutor

Here at the London School of Beauty, we are introducing a new series to our blog!  Meet our tutors! In today’s blog, we have sat down with Krisztina, our beauty and aesthetics tutor and asked her all about her background, experience and qualifications!

We understand that when considering a school, the tutors are a decisive factor. So we will be introducing you to some of our tutors over the next couple of weeks. Whether it’s their qualifications or experience, we hope to shed some light on what makes them the best tutors around. 

What course do you teach at The London School of Beauty?

I am a Level 2 & 3 Facial and Skincare tutor.

How long have you been teaching?

I’ve been in the beauty industry for 20 years and I’ve been teaching beauty therapy and aesthetics for 8 years.

Have you always been interested in beauty and aesthetics?

Yes, I’ve always been interested in beauty and not just beauty, nails as well.

What sparked your interest in beauty and aesthetics?

I used to see people doing beautiful nail designs and wanted to be able to do them myself, so I went and did the nail technician course. After I finished that, one of my friends went to do their beauty therapy and I thought why not! Now here I am.

What qualifications do you have?

So I’ve got my Level 2 and 3 nail technician and Level 2 and 3 Beauty Therapy along with my CIBTAC and CIDESCO. I also have Level 4 Laser and currently working on getting my Level 4 microblading!

What part of beauty and aesthetics are you most passionate about?

I would say, I am very passionate about the holistic part of beauty, so massages and those kinds of treatments. Also, I am currently really into treatments that help aesthetics so peels, needling and fillers. 

Why did you choose to teach at LSB?

I chose to teach here because it’s such a good place to grow! I meet so many new students every year and get to watch them become experienced beauty therapists. I also really get along with my colleagues and working in the city is great.

Aside from being a beauty tutor, do you do anything else on the side – beauty-related or not?

Most of the time, I work 6 or 7 days so I don’t have the time for anything else.

Finally, your favourite beauty product? 

I don’t have a favourite brand but I love anything that is all-natural and made from plants and herbs.
