With industry requirements at the forefront of thinking, this VTCT course has been designed to provide you with the most desired qualifications, accompanied with an advanced level of underpinning knowledge.
Our Level 3 is the perfect combination of facial and body electrotherapy treatments, balanced with holistic massage therapy, with Anatomy & Physiology. Our unique structure allows you the option to study part-time and fit in the other commitments in your life, the course will leave you fully equipped and prepared for what the industry requires.
Students will gain commercial salon experience* in our on-site LSBM Beauty Salon, where all treatments will be provided to paying clients in a professional environment and overseen by your tutor and our Pro Therapists.
This course will open up a wide range of career opportunities upon completion, however, you may decide to progress your studies with the Level 4 LASER & IPL qualification upon course completion.
During the course you will also study the Anatomy and Physiology certificate, this will be for 6 weeks on Friday’s. For the first 5 Friday’s this is a home study programme where printer access is required. You will be given an online pack which will contain all the information that needs to be digested including videos. Week 6 will be where you sit two Anatomy and Physiology exams in school and submit your completed portfolio, this day will be from 10am – 2pm. You will not be required to attend the school on Friday’s after you have completed the Anatomy & Physiology aspect of the course.

We have structured this module to bring you a wealth of valuable massage techniques that will set you at the cutting edge going into the industry. You will cover the following techniques;
This module will enable you to gain the knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of popular electrical and mechanical treatments for the face;
This module will provide you with the knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of popular electrical and mechanical treatments for the body;
On Fridays for the first 6 weeks of the course, you will be studying Anatomy & Physiology as detailed above. After you have completed the Anatomy & Physiology aspect, you will not be required to attend school on Fridays.
Students will also participate in our student salon* (LSBM Salon & Spa) once they have built up a certain level of competency with treatments. Our salon is run by professional therapists and is open throughout the year, therefore we have a large client base for both our professional therapists and our student therapists.
* Although the ‘normal’ study hours are 10am–5pm, you will also be required to practice your treatments in our student salon on a fairly regular basis, the salon hours will be 11am – 7pm.
Upon completion of the course, you will be required to submit a portfolio, all practical assessments will be achieved in the classroom. You will receive the three following qualifications:
