Course description
Have you completed a Level 2 Beauty Therapy training and want to expand on the knowledge and skills gained to become a fully qualified beauty therapist?
Students will master advanced beauty modules, such as body massage, alongside facial and body electrotherapy treatments.
The course is run as a part-time option, one day a week for 22 weeks.
The Level 3 Beauty Therapy is designed for students who have already completed a Level 2 Beauty or Facials training course and are looking to become more employable and fully competent beauty therapists.
Students are expected to complete the following mandatory units:
Body Massage:
You will cover the following popular massage methods;
- Swedish Body Massage
- Indian Head Massage
Facial Electrotherapy:
This module will enable you to gain the knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of popular electrical and mechanical treatments for the face;
- Facial Faradic
- Vacuum Suction/Mechanical Lymphatic Drainage
- Micro-current/Non-Surgical Lift
- Facial Galvanic Treatments
- High-Frequency Facials
- Microdermabrasion
Body Electrotherapy:
This module will provide you with the knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of popular electrical and mechanical treatments for the body;
- Faradic/Slender-tone
- Vacuum Suction/Mechanical Lymphatic Drainage
- Micro-current/Non-Surgical Lift
To complete the course, students will complete assessments that test their theory and practical skills. They will also be required to submit a portfolio of evidence outlining completed treatments.
On successful completion, you will receive the following globally recognised and accredited qualifications:
- VTCT Level 3 Beauty Therapy Studies Diploma
- The minimum age to enrol on this course is 18 years – there are no exceptions for this.
- A Full Level 2 Beauty Therapy Diploma or Level 2 Facials Qualification is required to join this course.
- Students must have an excellent command of English to attend this course – you must be able to speak, read, write and understand English fluently.
- International students requiring a visa are not eligible to study this course.

The course price for our VTCT Level 3 Beauty Therapy Diploma course is £2,550.
Included in this price is the course fee- training and examination fees (£2,485), textbook (£40) and tunic (£25). Our beauty school provides all the tools and equipment for in-person training. Students will also have access to our state-of-the-art facilities and salon-grade products.
Students must complete their hands-on practical training on classmates first under tutor supervision who will provide immediate feedback and tips.
Once they are confident and competent, they will perfect their professional beauty treatments on clients and live models in our professional classroom environment designed to mimic a salon environment.
The qualification is one of the longest-running and sought-after credentials in the beauty industry. Students who choose to complete this course will have no issues securing a job upon completion and can work as beauty therapists in salons, spas, or clinics across the beauty and wellness industry.
Students may also use this course as a stepping stone to move on to advanced aesthetic Level 4 training courses, such as our Level 4 Laser and IPL course.

Only a 25% Deposit is required to secure your place on this course if the course start date is more than 1 calendar month away.
