Our new VTCT Combined Level 4 Chemical Peel and Microneedling course is what you need to become an advanced aesthetician this year!
The course is an intensive 8-week course that fast-tracks your training without sacrificing our renowned quality.
As this is a combined course, students will complete the mandatory units required to gain the Level 4 chemical peel and microneedling qualifications.
As part of the VTCT Level 4 Skin Peeling Award, learners are training in the correct skin peeling application process – understanding the risks of handling chemical peels, the science behind the chemicals and how the procedures work. You will learn to work with the following chemicals:
- Glycolic acid
- Salicylic Acid
- Kojic acid and more.
On the Microneedling unit, students will master the popular minimally invasive skin needling treatment which is used to treat:
- Acne scarring
- Uneven skin tones
- Fine lines
- Wrinkles
Across both modules, students will master advanced aesthetic knowledge, such as:
- Client consultation
- Post-treatment advice
- The science behind SPF and UVA sun protectors to protect the skin
- How to prevent infections
- Customised treatment plans based on the client’s skin type.
To complete the combined microneedling and chemical peel course, students must complete theoretical and practical assessments alongside a portfolio of treatments to showcase their skills.
On successful completion, you will receive the following globally recognised and accredited qualifications:
- VTCT Level 4 Award in Chemical Skin Peels
- VTCT Level 4 Award in Skin Needling
- Students must hold relevant accredited Levels 2 and 3 beauty or facial qualifications to enrol on the course.
- Alternatively, interested participants should have a relevant medical qualification.
- An excellent command of English is required, you must be able to speak, read, write and understand English fluently to undertake this course.

As this is an accredited and OFQUAL-recognised qualification, students can immediately start offering these treatments to their clients and get insurance to protect themselves once they have completed all their assessments and received their qualifications.
Case studies are required for all advanced aesthetic courses to ensure that you are practising different treatments on various models. Your case study allows your tutor to provide feedback and check the quality of your work before you start working professionally on clients.
Case studies are also helpful for students to showcase their work to interested clients and market their business on their social media pages.
Our Level 4 Skin Peeling and Microneedling training course combines online and in-person training to fast-track our students’ completion and allow them to fit the training into their existing schedule.
Students will complete their practical training in person under the supervision of our tutors at our school classroom on models and classmates. Theory training will be completed online, and students will have ongoing access to course materials.

Only a 25% Deposit is required to secure your place on this course if the course start date is more than 1 calendar month away.
