1. The VTCT Level 2 Beauty Therapy Course

This course is for those who want to start their career in an advantageous Beauty industry. It covers a comprehensive list of Beauty topics, including Facials, Waxing, Nail Treatment etc.

At London School of Beauty and Makeup, the course is for 24 weeks (Saturdays only).

To obtain Level 2 Beauty Therapy Diploma, you will need to complete the following units:

1. Facials and Skin Care
2. Waxing
3. Lash and Brow Treatments
4. Manicure and Pedicure
5. General competencies

Students will also be able to practice on real clients in our Salon.

Who can enrol for the Level 2 Beauty Therapy course?

This course welcomes anyone 18 years old or over, with great basic education and good English language skills.

Level 2 Beauty Therapy course will make you a well-rounded Beauty Therapist with great theoretical and practical Level 2 knowledge. After receiving your qualification, you can seek employment at Spas, Beauty Salons, Hotels, Beauty Retailers or become your own boss by opening your Beauty business.

Getting Level 2 qualification also means you can seek further education by studying Level 3 courses.

2. VTCT Level 2 Facial Massage and Skin Care Course

While The VTCT Level 2 Beauty Therapy Course covers a broader list of Beauty topics, VTCT Level 2 Facial Massage and Skin Care Course is for students who would like to specialise in skin care and have an interest in skin-related problems and treatments.

In just six weeks, you will learn to provide complete skin analysis and develop your skin care skills, including face steaming, mask application, and spot extraction. You will be taught how to perform facial massage to complete your skills.

To obtain your VTCT Level 2 Facial Massage and Skin Care qualification, you will need to complete the following units:

1. Theory of the skin
2. Skin Analysis
3. Cleansing, balancing, toning & moisturising
4. Steaming, Extraction and Full Facial Massage
5. Selecting, mixing, and applying tailor-made face masques
6. The full facial massage routine
7. The theory in this module involves the anatomy & physiology of the upper torso, including the muscles, bones, blood, and nerve supply
8. Client counselling/consultation techniques
9. Client advise and guidance

Students will also be able to practice on real clients in our Salon.
