Even at the London School of Beauty & Make-Up our most popular course in 2020 was VTCT Level 2 Facial Massage and Skin Care. The beauty industry as a whole remains popular and thriving, making it a lucrative sector to start a career in!
This course is perfect for those who want an intensive course that will allow them to become a facial and skin care expert! The Combined Facial Course runs for just 7 weeks on a part-time basis. The course covers all facial treatments that are taught in Level 2 & 3!
Students will learn the basics of facials which cover; theory of the skin, skin analysis, steaming, extraction and facial massages.
Then, moving on to electrotherapy facials. These facials are more advanced and would usually be taught, on our VTCT Level 3 Facial Electrotherapy course. Students at this point would practice with a variety of mechanical and electrical treatments for the face. Electrotherapy facials are growing more in-demand as technology advances. The popularity is down to the longer-lasting results.
On the course, students will also learn how to carry out client consultations. Client consultations help you to understand their skin concerns and lifestyle. In turn, ensuring you offer the most effective treatment and aftercare tips! Without these consultations, you wouldn’t be a very good facialist! These reasons make learning client consultations a very important aspect of the course.
Upon successful completion, of the Level 2 and 3 Combined Facials and Skin Care Course. You will be a fully qualified facial and skin care expert!

You may even decide that upon completion, you would like to expand your knowledge and skills. You can then undertake our Level 4 Laser & IPL course. With the Level 4 qualification, you can become a skin rejuvenation technician, upgrading the services you offer clients.
You will be assessed on your practical facial skills throughout the course and will be required to submit a portfolio for assessment. The practical assessments will be carried out on paying customers which will offer experience for you to jump straight into your career!
